Not all Carsington boats!
The bionic woman may not be too impressed.
We leave the club, go to the Bear or Black Horse for dinner, I get in the left hand side of the car and go to sleep. She has the pleasure of a 3+hrs drive back to London at the end of the bank holiday.
Please can we finish earlier.

Ah the first of the vieled hints, I wonder how long we can keep it a secret? I think that my previous references to looking for me under the patio may become pertinant again, He's back on the 16th June just in time to get a bit of practice in before the Worlds (can't spell wavamunder or whatever it is!)

Pah the patio's too good for you. If the boat isn't sporting undetectable repairs by the time I get back, I'll be arranging a short holiday for you at McDangerous Towers. The look on poor old Alfie's face in the picture above the AGA says it all. ps this open invitation to physical violence extends to anyone who helped witless not to repair said vessel by buying him beer etc

I have to say, on Jtp(congratulations m8)'s defence, it was not his fault! It was a bigboy's fault and he ran away.

I have just had a discussion with a potential Tempest sailor, he's impressed with the boat. But, he views the web sight on a regular basis and has been waiting for the report on the Nationals, and some pictures, his comment is, it does not look good. To some degree I have to agree if we want to attract potential fleet members we need to show the boat. Did anybody from Carsington do a report and some pictures, also we should copy the report on the Ullswater event, and get them posted. If you need help please email me and I will do my best

When was the Nationals, thats right frikkin ages ago, has anybody actually mentioned on this forum who won, no, was it too knackering that all intelligence and keyboard skills suffer, probably, I was`nt there! But many of you were, wheres the comments, this is a forum, ruddy well type something, wheres all the powers that be that actually run this show, they can`t even raise their heads and answer question fired at them over organisation issues, oh hang on there arn`t any, yeah right, think Arun, think Southerns, think Worlds.
Right Website, I spent a lot of my time voluntarily creating this site this forum the Intl. site for nought and was quite happy to do so, that was then! Now I could`nt give a monkeys much the same as most others, if this is not true why do I not receive any thing in the way of reports, pictures, ideas, news, whats happening in on the club scene etc etc.
All this talk of showcasing the boat, promoting the boat and the best way to do that was through this site and this forum! Who remembers the old website, I seem to remember being warned of such a lack of involvement when I first took the job on. How right you were, you know who you are!
I got pictures from the Nationals and I will not publish them until a report follows, who ever may be writing that heaven knows, we will wait and see.
If anyone feels they can do better then they are quite welcome to, I`ll send them Usernames and passwords for the site, this Forum however I have control and I will delete it in a heartbeat if I feel its a waste of time.
One more thing, all you members start going on other forums to try to understand what they are about! This is not a message board, a newsboard, this is a forum, to discuss all matters sailing related, tempest related, you can even write about which member of the crew farted and is not likley to be asked again, anything you flipping well like, we cant keep this solely Tempest it`d die a F****** death.
But when there is something to talk about like the National everyone disappears! Weeks its been and not a thingyie bird. What was it some one once said to me
"what have Tempest sailors and mushrooms got in common?" "They`re always kept in the dark."
Anyway there is only one thing wrong with the website and that is lack of imput! The design is great,. I did it! This forum could be the hub of all Tempest knowledge on the net, only no-one will use it!
BTW there is no financial gain for me from doing these sites, but maybe there should be, how about it Intl, tempest association of GB and ITA maybe that will get things moving if I threaten to bill you both!!
