They went one per container both ways. Not sure whether you can squeeze 2 in, probably not, there was very little room either side which would not help when trying to put them in at an angle so that you could overlap them.

TEU Containers are 8 foot by 8 foot by 20 or 40 foot.

someone just told me that two to a container is NP. So.....

You could check with the shipping company that took the boats out there (CMA-CGM) whether they shipped them one to a container for convenience (not having to take masts off etc. or because you can only get one in a box.
